PharmAccess, the organization that developed SafeCare, has released its 2023 Progress Report. It details the impact SafeCare made in this period.

In the countries that SafeCare was active in, just over 2,000 quality assessments were conducted to bring the total since the beginning to 12,001. Our quality models – including SafeCare and building blocks for quality assurance based on SafeCare standards – were used by 32 partners supporting 2,678 healthcare facilities with more than 6.5 million patient visits per month.

Overall, 74.4% of the facilities active in 2023 improved their quality of care.
